Mid-Level Software Developer/Programmer
ASA is currently seeking an intermediate-level Programmer (programmer II) with at least 4 years of experience. The successful candidate will work with a growing team on cutting edge projects to integrate GIS, environmental data, and numerical models for thin and thick clients, primarily on Windows platforms. The candidate will be responsible for development of new ASP.Net and C# software as well as maintenance of existing VB6 and C# software.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years intensive experience working with C#, Windows forms and ASP.Net
- Experience in software design, development, integration and testing
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Working knowledge Javascript, HTML, XML, IIS, SQL
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and within groups
- Associate's degree required
- Experience working with Adobe Flex a plus
- Experience working with SOA a plus
- Experience with GIS concepts a plus
- Experience with Java a plus
- Project work requires that only U.S. citizens be considered for this position
